Lipid Profile Test Strips
The LipidoCare Meter can carry out a multitude of different tests such as a Lipid Profile, Lipid Cholesterol ONLY, Triglycerides ONLY, and Blood Glucose Tests.
We are focussing on the Lipid Profile test (which will give results for Total Cholesterol (TC), Triglycerides (TG), non-HDL, HDL, and LDL and LDL/HDL).
The Lipid profile test will give a detailed picture of your cholesterol levels so it can allow you to better manage your diet or for your doctor or healthcare professional to manage any medication you may be taking.
What do you result show
LDL – Optimal Level: less that 100mg/dL or 2,59 mmol/L
Total Cholesterol – Desirable Level: less than 200mg/dL or 5.18mmol/L
HDL Low: less than 40 mg/dL or 1.03mmol/L
Triglycerides Normal: less than 150mg/dL or 1.69mmol/L
There are various different levels of severity above the levels shown above. These can be found in the product manual.
*non-HDL is calculated by Total Cholesterol – HDL
*LDL is calculated by Total Cholesterol – DHL – (Triglycerides/5 (mg/dL) or /2.17 (mmol/L)
